Floating Disk

This is an arcane spell used to summon a floating invisible disk 3 feet across that follows 20 feet behind the caster as far as possible. This is a basic wizard spell and is fairly common among professional arcane casters. By taking 10 minutes to gather arcane energy, this spell can be cast without expending one's own energy - making it easy to repeatedly cast without cost.   The Floating Disk spell's disk can hold up to 500 pounds and must hover off the ground - it cannot fly. The disk cannot be maintained for more than an hour or more than 100 feet from the caster.   This is a spell known by Arzet Devadov.    The Floating Disk spell is commonplace in major wizarding institutions as a matter of convenience and is often used to transport high-value fragile items. It doesn't have much of a place in global logistics, as it simply cannot compete with the weight capacity and ease of the common wagon.
