Adornments of Eternal Praise
The Adornments of Eternal Praise are magical items - often taking the form of jewelry - forged by Hiku the Muse from the inert souls of her most devoted fans. These souls are many centuries old and have lost virtually all identity or will, allowing them to be molded into new shapes and purposes.
The Adornments are a fairly simple product with a simple purpose: they endlessly cycle through praise and adoration and allow the wearer to feel that total love at will. In short, they allow Hiku to telepathically blast herself with validation and a sense of love that her normal immortal life lacks.
It is possible to become emotionally dependent on such items, as they can easily create an unrealistic and impossible standard for love and approval.
