Limn
Limn are a class of pocket universes with characteristic properties:
- dependent upon a suitably real host universe (see Liminal Attachment)
- cosmologically immature
- limited space (see Liminal Space)
- limited in duration
- limited reality (quasi-real)
- limited object permanence
- pluripotential - having multiple potential realities
- highly magically active (thaumic decay)
Categories
In their immature state, limn are typically no larger than a room. In their adult state, limn may grow to the size of a building or even a small town. Because its supplies of reality and space are limited, a limn adopts a variety of strategies to distribute reality and space effectively around its observers. A limn typically constructs itself around its observers and favors occurences that retain, centralize, and engage observers. Long-distance visibility is typically reduced.
