Feng-hait

The Feng-hait are a species of feline creatures that live in the northern regions of Yeg and all over Kemeyahm. They are three times the size of the Ahmegg, but ironically, history has lead to certain populations to be nervous of them. In the old times before the Rothmegg fled Haert, The Feng-hait had battled the Ahmegg multiple times at the northern coasts of Hoolye and Kemeyahm. They had seen the power of the magic they learned from the Roth families and grew to fear it. Over the centuries these fears waned but up north the smaller villages still have their myths. They still tell ancient stories of the small folk who had burned their ships with arcane torrents of fire and razed their forts with lightning. But the southern and midland populace has spent the last 1700 years trading the wealth of Kemeyahm's lands with the Ahmegg, the Naag and the Roma. They have spread to the furthest reaches of Haert and, despite not being as high in number as the Ahmegg, are the most travelled people in the known isles.
