Aelgari Empire
The Empire has been expanding for as long as its history and each new conquered region is forced to assimilate, even as the original Aelgari people look down on the new citizens for their different appearances and cultures. They believe in a pantheon of deities led by Ael, the Goddess of Righteous War.
Structure
The Empress, who is believed to hold the Ael's soul is the leader of the Aelgari Empire. She has been expanding the Empire with a tunnel vision that leaves most of the everyday bureaucratic affairs to the Councillors.
Public Agenda
The Empire's goal is to conquer all the countries and nations in the world and unify them. The people believe in their divine right to rule the Haela and restore Ael, Goddess of Righteous War to her position as Empress of the World.
Assets
The extremely wealthy Aelgari Empire has a huge army and navy. Their troops come from across the Aelgari Empire. They plunder and sack all the cities that they conquer and the profits go back to the Empress and the Empire itself.
History
In the deep tropical jungles of the Aelgari Empire there was a state of constant turmoil as each of the many tribes battled for resources and land. One of the tribes convinced, coerced, and forced the others to unite. This loose alliance of tribes slowly began to form a solid government structure as they expanded and conquered other territories. There were several bids for power as one or more of the original tribes attempted to assassinate or otherwise subvert the Empress, but the majority prevailed and the ever-expanding Aelgari Empire was formed.
Demography and Population
Territories
The Empire holds the ancestral lands of the tropical jungles. They also forcibly hold the assimilated regions of the North, the border territories, and the K'hili Nation.
Foreign Relations
Most of the world is afraid of the Empire and willing to do anything to appease them. However, some nations are angry at its expansionist agenda and want to stop it before it grows more powerful than it already is. They are too afraid to actually wage war against the Empire.

Map of the Eastern Hemisphere of the Haela
An Aelgarcentric map showing most of the developed world. The Aelgari only bothered to show the Eastern Hemisphere because it is the only part that they have even mapped. It shows their presumptuous attitude in their neglect of borders, as if saying that they will conquer it all soon enough. Overall, a helpful map for the Aelgarcentric world we live in today.
