The Creation of Vita and Mors

Celestial / Cosmic

1000

Vita and Mors, the children of Hadross. Their names came to mean life and death, the cycle of the world. Vita came to represent what Hadross wanted; creation, love, and duality. Mors, on the other hand, came to represent what Hadross sacrificed; death, solace, and individuality.

The siblings, despite their differences, found beauty in the cosmic whirlpool of the universe. Vita would turn the swirls of energy into stars and constellations; Mors would eventually unravel the threads to make room for new formations. Their very own cycle of creation and destruction, complexity and entropy.

Vita, yearning to become more than they are, broke off peices of themself in order to create more beings. Mors followed suit, breaking off peices of themself in order to keep balance.

This brought about the age of the new gods, giving life to the world and planes of existance. The Vita gods, the gods of complexity, would be in a constant state of creation and movement. They were followed closely behind by the Mors gods, the gods of entropy, who would unravel threads in order to keep balance to the complexity.
