Revolt of the Flaming Bonds

Revolution

After an escape facilitated by the Lord of the Nine Hells, the newly rebrithed Tieflings begin a rebellion to reclaim their home and their people from the slavery of the Nation of Chromatic Dragons.

Bolstered by newfound Tiefling powers and fueled by the collective rage of centuries in chains, the newly freed slaves of Erobernheim sought to free their brothers and sisters in captivity. Unable to gain favour with higher authorities, due to their new fiendish appearance, the Revolt was able to secure alliances with Valoreignian Archons and Metallic Dragon Meisters in control of smaller provinces at the very least. Armed with better equipment and more forces, what followed was continuous guerrilla conflict, gaining with fruitless victories and crushing defeats on both sides. But these victories were often short lived, as the retribution of Erobernheim would be swift and fierce, and the tenuous truce between Valoreign and the Chromatic forces that had held since the Metallic Charge began to crumble. The Metallic Meisters were prepared to receive this backlash, but the Archons were not, and those who let their involvement become exposed were often targeted for death. In some cases, these villages would turn to the Tieflings for leadership, resulting in the first bases of operation for these Hell-touched former Humans.   Though many Tiefling run settlements have gained the ability to defend themselves, the conflict continues to this day, even after the great shatter In fact, the new state of Gyrraholm has been seen as quite the boon for the hell-touched forces, separating many Drachromatic slave hunters and siege forces from their homes and supply lines, though the ability to liberate more of their kin has become substantially more difficult, and time-limited.
