Humans, especially Spiritkind and people getting close to the critical choice, could have a "heat" level that determines how likely they are to be targeted directly by Fallen or chosen for persecution by the enemy.This mechanic could add immediacy, triggering events, and enhance the shortage-economy aspect of player actions and decisions.
