Vision: Exceptional night vision, general vision is excellent as well, although photosensitivity is common

Beauty Ideals
The more tattoos one has, the more attractive, as each tattoo is awarded for important events in one's life. If a gensang doesn't have many tattoos (as an adult, as children naturally have less, as they have lived for a far shorter time), they are considered useless/underachieving to some degree.
Common Etiquette Rules
One is not supposed to eat in front of others, as exposing one’s mouth is considered deeply disrespectful
Common Customs, Traditions and Rituals
Tattoos
Tattoos are applied to denote specific events in one’s life, and each piece is custom. During childhood, tattoos must be applied by the elders of their community, usually in a temple or other holy area. Tattoos outside of childhood are also often applied by elders, but those who live outside predominantly Gensang communities tend to apply some of their own tattoos. Larger events tend to send one back to the homeland to have an elder-applied tattoo; like an official acknowledgement of what happened. More personal events are the ones deemed less important and are often self-applied. In the case of a Gensang taking a member of another species in as family (does not really embody the level of devotion from the Gensang that would be required to even consider this), the Gensang’s tattoos (usually just some of them) are applied to the other being. This is rather rare, given that most Gensang stay in ethnocentric communities and even fewer bother to interact positively with other species, but it marks the being as honorarily Gensang. Exposing one's mouth
Applying the traditional gensang tattoos to Gensang that naturally have the coloration of the 'shards' that they burst into upon death (such as little shit). It's seen as inviting misfortune, as Gensang with this particular coloration are seen as very delicate and weak-- as if the slightest injury or discomfort would be enough for them to turn to the shards with which they share coloration (they're not even allowed to cut their hair or nails-- as their entire bodies are seen as a gift from the gods). Additionally, gensang with this particular coloration are seen as closer to the gods, and thus it's seen as disrespecting the gods to marr such a complexion. They are obligated to take religious roles in their communities-- regardless of their views on the matter. Some regular gensang view these individuals as bringing misfortune with their existance; as if they curse any whom lay eyes upon them to death.
