The End of the Corthalian Empire

Imperial Corthalia was challenged by its people and some of the new phlosophers arising from an improved educational system. The New Republic of Corthalia disolved most oppresive Corthalin activities.

The Emporor of Corthalia and the priesthood of Ruhim ruled over military and civilian operations with fervor and intensity. The Emporer had ordered that the citizens of Corthalia must be educated. From this order arose newly educated philosophers and theologians who held disdain for many Corthalian operations. These new people challenged the governmental system and the enforced monotheism of the Corthalian Empire. After many debates, the Corthalian Emperor and the state church decided to disolve the Imperial structure they upheld for millenia. The Corthalian people drafted a Constitution which provided a new system of government and new restrictions on military and religious activities. They opted for a parlimentary system where at least one member of each race of Corthalia is present in state and central government. The church and all religious organizations are separate from the state. Military operations must be respectful of other nations and peoples and magical turture and chemical warfare is foridden. Thus, the New Republic of Corthalia was born.
