Psychopomps
The Psychopomps are two strange beings under the jurisdiction of Rune. They roam The Corridor, looking to put the three Undead inhabitants--Beth , Avan, and Leon --to rest.
Spoilers from here on out.
The two Psychopomps are Makara and Domino. Both of them use they/them and it/its pronouns.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Makara is thin and angular, unnaturally tall and with limbs and a neck that twist in ways they shouldn't. There seem to be no soft angles to them. Their face is covered by a mask resembling the face of a bug, or perhaps a centipede or spider. Makara wears a cloak that resembles beetle wings under an elytra, though they do not fly with these wings. They can change the shape and depth of this cloak at their will.
Domino is small and essentially drowning in their clothes. Their face is obscured by a hand that comes from their neck, and their actual hands are obscured by their long sleeves. Notably, Domino has two small angel-like wings on their back. Strange objects flow out of their sleeves; the objects are mostly metal and are signs for railroads and streets more often than not.
Both Psychopomps have staves, though they don't always carry them. Makara's staff is silver and has many unusual branching patterns, resembling an ant's nest. Domino's staff is gold and rusted iron patched together and resembles veins and arteries flowing to a heart.
Behaviour
The Psychopomps have a one-track mind towards capturing the Undead and putting them to rest. Outside of this goal, they seem forgetful of themselves and others--they repeat their objective to themselves often and seek each other out if something goes wrong.
Together, the two lead the Undead further into the Corridor, tricking them into separating and falling apart.

However, Makara is swayed against their plan when Avan and Machiavelli reunite as Avan reaches Stage 4 and 5. They eventually give in and helps the two by providing food. Similarly, Domino is swayed against hurting Leon when he shows concern for them, Beth, and Avan. The two don't fully turn against Rune, but take a more complicated view when they realize they aren't so different from the Undead. They miss their parents, their identity, and their life, but they have to keep going (and perhaps they'll get these things back with time).
Additional Information
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Both Psychopomps seem acutely aware of where the other is at all times and become upset if the other is too far away or is unreachable. They also both speak despite having no visible mouths (and do not sound muffled).

History
Show Spoiler
They are possibly related to the Ghost, as they are what remain of Martin and Diana following their deaths in the Corridor. Unlike Ghosts, they do not wither and cannot go through walls. However, they seem to have control of the Corridor's warping, so they can simply open a hole in the wall and close it behind them.
