This is the time from the from when the elves first founded settlements to the establishment of Highgate
The Lo'Vei Family broke ground on our mountain citadel overlooking their claim in the lowlands.
The period when Highgate was consider society's pinnacle
Back then the Elven nations were more or less united after the marriage between Lo’Vei Tasei and Gé’Mena Lraka, Highgate became a stronghold and metropolis of Elven society. Tasei was often pressured by the Families to kick the Dwarves whom had escaped servitude out of the foothills beneath Highgate. The Dwarven leader, name unrecorded, pleaded with the Tasei’s emissary to let them stay and spoke fervently of the terror of the Giants. Tasei was unimpressed by these Dwarves and the Giants they spoke of. He had the Dwarves executed. What followed was what some eccentric historian named the Ososei, translating to Spring War (oso:spring, child; sei:conflict, attack; Tasei: translates to sword or weapon). The clash between the Elves and the Giants started with the siege of Highgate. In the following weeks, the Dwarves and the Giant overlords had fought through the city to the palace where they were held at bay. When Gé’Mena Goi, Kaelyn’s uncle and Lraka’s brother, arrived to aid Highgate, Kaelyn reportedly said to Tasei ‘Yes father, I think I shall go greet Uncle in the public gardens. Send for Mother to meet us for some tea when I send word we finished with our ride.’ Kaelyn then rode out through the main palace gate with an escort and the Kriss his mother had presented him at Tasei’s coronation. His escort consisted of calvary and a squad of heavy chariots that spat arrows every which way. Kaelyn himself led the charge and did indeed meet his uncle at the public gardens where the Giants had made camp, he then slew all of the Giant command. The events that followed raged across the Aerdiroso Mountains and their foothills for decades.
The Ososei ended when Lo’Vei Kaelyn descended into the den of the Giant Barons’, Arder, on the western coast. His war party stormed their citadel. After a week of fighting, they had slain the last Baron, and ascended back into the light. Kaelyn then named the sea after his mother, the Lrakan.
