A turning point in the history of Greedpeaks. Following the ceasefire immediately after the Atrocity of the Yellow Sept, the 7 Houses were summoned and urged to find a resolution to their conflicts.   It is rumoured that Gretchen Borefear, who went missing following the ceasefire, gave herself as a blood sacrifice to the gods and witches to end the conflict.

The gathering was headed by the to-be Mediator of the Realm, a reclusive, secretive and seemingly immortal witch. She demanded a human sacrifice in order to create a physical bond between the Houses. The human sacrifice was never confirmed, but as Gretchen Borefear was never located after that night, it is heavily assumed that Gretchen Borefear was the sacrifice.   The Mediator also ordered a material contribution to peace in the realm. Each House was to give a prized, valuable and unique Artefact to the Mediator.

  • House Arrondon - a solid golden paddle, hailing back to the House's ancestors who allegedly arrived to Greedpeaks via rowboats.

  • House Grattanion - a red and silver necklace, worn by Casper Enk Grattanion's deceased mother, Anna.

  • House Bannerreach - a dark wood chest containing the bones of their House's founder, Skazer Bannerreach.

  • House Spikewren - a thick, heavy, bright orange shield bearing the sigil of House Spikewren.

  • House Smith - an obsidian hammer, referencing their House and territory's craftsmanship and building qualities.

  • House Borefear - an intricately carved wooden bear statue, embracing a spherical globe.

  • House Sturm - a black crystal ball with infinite numbers floating, disappearing and reappearing within it.
