Captain-Army

Captain is a commissioned officer with the pay grade of O-3, ranking above a First Lieutenant and below a Major. Captains are typically company-grade officers who serve as commanders of company-sized units, or as staff officers at the battalion or brigade level, where they are responsible for a range of duties including training, planning, and mission execution.
