The Saint of Worms
An original resident of the ancient villages, a Vampiric Patron of the city who guides Granmont towards growth and progress by removing impediments in revolutionary and catastrophic ways. The most recent era of the city, one without the stifling influence of Nobility and Religion, was supposed to begin thirty years ago, with Rapheal as the instrument of change. However the duplicitous Beaumont leveraged the circumstances for personal gain, rather than the good of the city; aligning himself with the old power he was supposed to dispose and getting them in his debt in one fell swoop, while showing them he can dispose them if he needs to. The Vampire has spent the past three decades in an isolated astral cell by the Ring of Tutelar, originally unable to project himself via his Oneiromancy skills. Every night his mind pushed out, attempting to find anything past the static of this prison. It wasn't enough to make a connection. But it was enough to accept a connection, from an outsider just this year. He had a new Oracle, one who became skilled enough at Oneiromancy to meet the Saint in the middle, and allow him to feed on himself; with enough fresh blood for one night of dream walking the city, the loyal oracle stole blood and let the Saint feed, enough for one more night.
