Cherishing Season, Full Himber, 18th   I walked among the Earth Dragons today, and they opened my eyes to something.   We all learned about and believe in it. I saw it today.   Everlyn showed me the way.   She said, “With me being one of the Enhanced, it was possible.”   I still wonder if I am grateful.   Seeing the Pale Stream lifted my heart.   The joy and celebration that pulse from it would affect any living being, I would think.   I watched as the dying faded, and the energy within them raised.   Every orb fled to the marvelous trees that flourish on Greelant.   The trees welcomed some. They glowed in celebration of their homecoming.   The ground hummed with the reunion and the memory of the past.   Replied, pushed and dragged, the others must go to the Dark Stream that floats above ground unseen.   That energy is forced to see its wrongdoing in hopes of it not repeating the same mistakes.   Such sadness comes from it. For the energy remembers the Pale Stream, and it longs to be there. It longs for love and celebration.   The despair is not long lived. The Dark Stream goes to a place of natural cleansing, where after it rejoins the Life Tree and is reborn with hopes of redemption.   Soul Energy
Each ecosphere that bears lifecycles supports two streams.   One glows pale blue.   The other is darker than the moonless, cloud-filled evening.   The dead fed them.   All living beings- no matter their size, no matter their appearance- belong to the streams.   The energy that creates a life cycle does not belong to us.   Beings borrow it for the seasons they are gifted.   Once the life cycle flickers out, the energy returns to the stream.   The Pale
For the unmarked, untainted.   The pale awaits.   Welcomed home warmly into the arms of trees.   It flows through them, from limb to root.   This stream flows from root to root until it arrives at the hidden Life Tree.   The energy returns to its nourishing roots and the continuously blowing Breath of Life.   Here, the energy is born anew with light and the sounds of birth.   The Dark
Tainted and marked.   They belong to the dark.   The dark stream is not for punishment but a dwelling for reflection, cleansing.   It flows above the ground and weaves its way around the caring trees.   Never allowed to feel their comfort.   A place waits for it, hidden at the top of a mountain.   The energy flows through the rocks and dirt, being purified.   At the beginning of what humans call time and dragons call cycles, this stream was small, but it grew cycle after cycle.   Redemption?
The energy from the dark stream is reborn as well, hoping after its time of reflection it will redeem itself.   Few do;   more drag others beside it back to the dark.
