The Wailing Void

A ritual meant to invoke a deeper understanding of loss and to help the worshipper embrace despair as a form of spiritual growth. It can also be used to possibly summon spirits of sorrow or grief.

Execution

Process
  • The hollow crescent symbol is drawn in the center of the ritual space.
  • The black cloth is laid across the symbol, representing the darkness that envelops the soul in grief.
  • The memento is placed on top of the cloth as an offering to Lady Sythra.
  • The worshipper chants: “In the void, in the dark, sorrow takes hold, and grief leaves its mark. Let the void consume and give birth to despair, let Lady Sythra lead the way through this endless prayer.”
  • As the chant is spoken, the worshipper embraces the emptiness, closing their eyes and surrendering to the sorrow, and allowing it to consume them.

Components and tools

Material Requirements
