The Crying of the Eye
This ritual is used to invoke Lady Sythra, The Endless Grief's influence over someone else's grief. It is often performed by those who wish to manipulate emotions or extract sorrow from a victim.
Execution
Process
- The figurine of the Bleeding Eye is placed at the center of the ritual table.
- The vial of blood is poured slowly around the base of the figurine, symbolizing the sorrow that is being invoked.
- The broken mirror is placed in front of the figurine, facing the worshipper.
- The worshipper speaks a prayer to Sythra: “With the tears of sorrow, I open the eye, to see the grief that binds us. Let my sorrow become your sorrow, and in that grief, let you break.”
- The ritual is concluded when the worshipper looks into the broken mirror and reflects on their own grief, seeing the reflection of their emotions twisted and deepened.
