Albert Bouchard
Albert Bouchard is a man who exists in the thin veil between respectability and rot. To most, he is a peculiar, well-dressed artifacts dealer who operates out of a cluttered antique shop tucked into one of Windbury’s quieter alleys. The shop itself, known as “The Gilded Relic,” is an overwhelming collection of dusty curios, relics of questionable authenticity, and glittering oddities that catch the eyes of both scholars and scoundrels alike. Albert presents himself as a collector of the arcane and ancient, always eager to pay top coin for “culturally significant” items—especially if their origins are murky.
Albert is known for having too many pockets in his coat, all enchanted in subtle ways to hold more than they should. Rumors suggest that one pocket even opens to a hidden holding space in a Hatters-controlled safehouse somewhere beneath the city. His left eye twitches when he lies—something only the most perceptive catch—but otherwise he maintains a demeanor of politeness, even hospitality. He doesn’t get his hands dirty; instead, he connects people, whispers deals, and sends information up the ladder to The Hat, the enigmatic leader of the Hatters.
