Upper Shaman and Lower Shaman

Upper Shaman oversee the settlements: city,town,village and shrines. They are the heart of the government,due to settlements constantly growing Lower Shaman have become an added place within the ranks. Lower Shaman handle more minor but still serious issues. Shaman/chiefs have been around since the creation of the planet. They are the backs of the settlements and are scattered where ever Detoran live.

Qualifications

Trained at Misty Pastures Shaman grounds. Lower Shaman teach them magic,martial arts,beginners politics and spiritual awareness.

Responsibilities

Shaman also known as 'chief' have direct ties with Solspiritus. Upper Shaman handle more spiritual ceremonies as well as funerals. Lower Shaman are more warrior based but still have spiritual ties as well. They also tend to be teachers to future shaman. Upper Shaman are direct descendants of previous leaders that made the settlements,where as Lower Shaman were discovered because they had high levels of magic often without the use Cosmos staff.
