The Fall of Tymon

During the Champion’s Games, the skies darkened over Tymon as a long-foretold prophecy came to pass. Loris Raknian, once a celebrated gladiator and current arena director, unleashed an ulgurstasta within the Arena of Aroden, sacrificing the reigning champion Vixus and thousands more to begin a necrotic uprising.   The dead rose, twisted by the green worms of Kyuss, and overran the city in hours. Spectral remnants of Tymon’s blood-soaked past surged from beneath the arena sands, spreading plague and death. Raknian ascended, vanishing into shadow after declaring the prophecy fulfilled.   Tymon fell to chaos and undeath. The few survivors who could not breach the front gates fled by sea as the city was overrun with worm-corrupted wights.
