Kenku tend to live in large cities. They live in large clans, referred to as flocks, and usually use their Mimicry for cons, crimes, and, sometimes, lawful jobs.

History
Kenku where first created from the eggs of Vrel, in the year -500cr, on the elemental plane of air. They lived with their Aaracockra Brethren, living as thieves in the Aaracockra cities. They were despised by the Aaracockra, but where not treated worse due to this, as the Aaracockra believed that all had a reason to be created, and believed that the Kenku were created to steal from the evil Elementals. When the Kenku planned to steal an ancient artifact that allowed one of the cities to continue existing, the god of light Pavlona punished the Kenku by stripping them of their flight and banishing them to the material plane in the year 40wr. When banished, the Kenku began searching for homes in the cities of other races. However, in the year 500wr, A few kenku helped build a small town, which eventually turned into a city. This city is called Varaingaardt. In 2017wr, when the Calamity event takes place, most of the city was destroyed, but it still withheld. In the year 2243wr, Varaingaardt was halfway rebuilt, with most of the Worker Homes still being under construction. Kenku during the Calamity event where only affected similarly to the people in the cities they lived in.

Common Myths and Legends
There once lived a Kenku named Flap. He was a conniving Kenku who loved stealing from other people. One day, Flap stole from a powerful wizard. The item stolen, was a dimensional cube, that lead directly to mount Celestia. He traveled, finding himself in the shadow of the great bird goddess Nozrata. Flap, with his obsession with flight that all Kenkus have, hunts the bird back to her nest. There, he found her most prized possession, the egg of flight. Flap stole the egg, and was given the power of flight. Before he could escape, however, Nozrata found him, and trapped his soul to Mount Celestia, never allowed to steal, cannot lie, and cannot hide.
Interspecies Relations and Assumptions
Kenku don't harbor any ill-will against most races, except for monstrous ones, which is usually unfriendly. However, most normal races are weary around Kenku due to the stigma surrounding them.
