Gnolls don't typically have names, being little more than whines, shrieks, and growls, as they see names as a useless thing to have. Powerful Gnolls, like Fangs, Pack lords, and Flinds will gain names from Yeenoghu. These Gnolls will also have a Warband name as a sort of Last Name, which is two different words to form a single Warband Name. A Gnoll that grows up in a non-gnoll family, or they joined an Adventuring Party, will use the Family name as their Warband name, or will use the Adventuring Party group name as their Warband name.

They don't have their own goodbyes, instead just simply Bidding goodbyes.
Common Dress Code
The only clothes Gnolls wear is usually scraps of armor and anything that he/she finds to their liking.
Culture and Cultural Heritage
Surprisingly, Gnolls have a strong sense of family, being willing to kill to protect their kin. All Gnolls also share one similar trait, that they are very aggressive. They see Intimidation as a way to assert their place in life, rather than a way to threaten people.
Common Customs, Traditions and Rituals
Gnolls will make a necklace out of random creatures' teeth and bones to signify one's danger. A gnoll, or any creature the Gnolls deem strong, with this Necklace is usually somewhat respected by the warband.
Common Taboos
To Gnolls, helping other races is considered disgusting, and worthy of death.
Gnolls that grow up outside of their warband have an opposite disposition. Typically, they believe that hurting others without probable cause is a great offense.
History
The first band of Gnolls appeared in 343wr, when the Demon Lord Yeenoghu came to the Material Plane to hunt Living things. While he would hunt and kill the Living creatures, a pack of Hyenas would follow him, and would eat the meat he would leave behind, warping them more into his image, and making them much smarter than they where. Yeenoghu liked them, due to them mimicking how he hunted, and until he was sent back to the Abyss in 346wr, he would teach them to kill, to torture, and to hunt sentient creatures. They would follow his teachings, and would worship him as their god.
It would be discovered that Gnolls are not born evil in 1254wr, when a circus had separated a captured gnoll family with their cubs. The Cubs would mimic how the Circus workers acted, and would be freed when the Young Gnolls began speaking Common. They would easily be integrated into Circus work, and when they grew old, where allowed to retire. While they would not have children, the Circus would kill whole Gnoll Warbands and would take the Gnoll children. This time, they would raise the Gnolls in slavery, teaching them to obey without thought. It would take until 1299wr until a small pack of Gnolls would escape, fearing death from causing a death of one of the Performers, as they accidentally had not securely set one of the trapeze wires, dropping the most popular Acrobat about 50 feet onto her head. These Gnolls would try to escape into the fringes of Society, finding a Home in the City of Bal'oug, otherwise known as the "The City of the Weird." Due to their high reproduction rates, they would easily be able to travel, but would only be accepted in large cities, and even so, they were disliked by just about all, due to their Evil raisings.
Gnolls where affected by the Calamity event. Some Gnolls would be mutated to become bigger, more monstrous, and far more deadly. Almost every warband saw this as a blessing of Yeenoghu, and treat these monsters and their god's avatar. Gnolls outside of Warband's would suffer as much as any other humanoid. After the Calamity event, however, the non-Warband Gnolls would end up living better live than before. They helped repair society, and many protected settlements from Slaadi incursions. In 2299wr, the first Gnoll, who was named Aegislash, was crowned as a Noble. In 2323wr, a Gnoll, named Oglima, became a Lord of Luik.
Interspecies Relations and Assumptions
Most other living creatures hate Gnolls, including non-sentient ones. Trolls and Troglodytes are the only exception to this rule, as the Gnoll life style of killing and eating everything suits them.
Even Gnolls who have changed to be much less Feral are hated, as due to the knowledge that, even though an Orc can be born into a good household, he will still be a violent Orc.
Demonic Minotaur and Gnolls have a fierce Rivalry, due to their gods also having a fierce rivalry.
