Giff Reproduce Sexually. They go through pregnancy at the same rate as humans.

Giff age slightly faster than humans, reaching adulthood at age 17.

Most Giff can live anywhere. They tend to live on their spaceships, called spelljammers.

Giff are Omnivores.

Every Giff born is immediately put into a form of military training. Every Giff is some form of soldier, and each one has a rank:   Private (Class 1-3): The most common type of Giff. Privates who are 1st or 2nd class are usually not seen on Godsen, as they are usually still in training. Private class 3 Giff usually either work on or off ship.   Corporal: The leaders of Private class 3 Giff, and teachers of Private class 1 and 2. Corporals tend to their own small groups, usually leading them into combat situations. Usually leads 4 Privates   Sergeant: The leaders of Corporals. These types of Giff aren't usually the types in battlefields, but are usually nearby. Usually leads 6 Corporals.   Major: The leaders of Sergeants. These types of Giff are the military planners of the Giff. Usually leads 8 Sergeants.   Captain: Leaders of Majors. They give the Sergeants instructions and what they must do when in combat, and are the ones who determine deployment. Usually leads 10 Majors   Master: Leaders of the Giff Empire. They run everything, and make contracts with others. There are always 8 Masters.   Special ranks: Special ranks are Giff who specialize in a very specific job.   Bridge Captain: Drivers of Military Spelljammers. They make sure Sergeants and their soldiers get to their destination safely. Usually considered "Major" in ranking, and usually has a crew of 20, who are all considered privates..   Weaver: Spellcasters of the Giff. Because of the giff's distaste of magic, these types are on a rank of their own, and are usually used for complete and total destruction of specific military compounds.   Death: The Driver of the Giff Mothership' Cannon. Due to the sheer power of the weapon, only one man is allowed to use it. Upon use of the cannon, the Death is to teach the next Death, and is to be shot, so that how it works can never be used against them.

Giff look like Hippos. Some can have small amounts of facial hair.

Most Giff live on the Giff mothership, although a sizeable chunk of them are strewn about on the planet.

Giff have the intelligence of a human, although are exceptionally intelligent at everything firearms.

Giff use a male or female first name and a last name, like humans. Some common names for males are Garnost, Meldon, Horos, Devo, Benn. Some common female names are Garlia, Meleda, Haran, Dea, Bail.

The Giff Administration of Merceliss Exterminators (G.A.M.E), is a Mercenary group headed by a senate of Giff called "Biggerun."

Females usually aren't soldiers, and usually make weapons, gunpowder, or Spelljammers. Males are usually soldiers.

A Giff must prove too his or her loved that they truly love them by doing a task for them. Usually one that is only barely possible, if the Giff does so they win the favor of their loved.

Giff use Different forms of Firearms, Spelljammers, and Grenades.

Common.

Instead of shaking hands, Giff would headbutt each other as a form of greetings. They do this even to non-Giff, and sometimes require medical personnel for assistance in these cases.

Giff wear Millitary regalia, and must always wear their insignia when in a spelljammer.

Giff Culture comes from their military like way of living.

After a job is completed, the Giff that did the job are rewarded with good food. The Giff who did best on the job is rewarded with a better weapon, gunpowder for personal use, or even a much more dangerous job.

The use of Magic is seen as both dishonorable and useless. To them, most problems can be solved with a gun, so magic is very pointless.

In the year 45wr, the space faring race of the Giff was made. No known records show how they were made, as they don't care. They were born on the planet Nostbra, which was destroyed in 100wr. However, before this, and because of their great engineering prowess, they had managed to create ships for space travel, called spelljammers. Giff do not keep track of their own history, as they believe it is a pointless thing to keep track of. However, one thing they did keep track of, was that the destruction of their planet was caused by a spellcaster who created a magical cannon that could fire explosives strong enough to destroy planets, and promptly set it's target to Nostbra. The survivors have grown a hatred for Magic. Afterwords, the Giff mostly wandered the Universe for the next few years, sometimes going into the astral sea for other odd jobs from Githyanki, or just finding other species to do mercenary work with.. In the year 1070wr, The first spelljammer landed in Godsen. With the amount of bizarre races that already exists in it, they weren't really celebrated or even noticed. However, due to their affinity with mercenary work, they were welcomed silently among people who could afford them. The Calamity event caused great damage to the Giff mothership, called the "S.S. D-Rain," and made it impossible to move much farther than from the Planet Godsen, where it was stationed at the time. To this day, the Giff are still trying to repair the ship with their current supplies, but most of it was made of materials not found on Godsen.

Giff are a race of mercenaries, and are considered friendly to all races, except races that would enslave them or someone else.
