Kana

Kana

Kana is a successful construct built by Shinzo. Shinzo requested that she keep the other constructs in the crypt and people out of it. She is immortal and cannot die.

Mental characteristics

Personal history

Kana was created by Shinzo in his experiments to build stronger soldiers and to explore the limits of the body.   She was originally a Sheikah who greatly admired Shinzo. She and her younger sister, Eris  were only 10 and 8 years of age when they began their missions (Aftermath of Magnolia's laws). Unfortunately, due to their lack of training and placement on the front line, they were both grievously wounded. On the verge of death, Kana got herself and Eris to Shinzo to beg for his medical assistance, but they were already too far gone to survive any normal procedure.   Shinzo presented them with the option of undergoing his experimental transformations, and they both readily agreed. What followed were a series of torturous procedures that combined Shinzo's best understanding of magic, technology, and nature. By the end of the experience, Kana was so traumatized she didn't remember getting injured or undergoing the transformation. All that she could recall was one day she was a Sheikah child, and the next she was an abomination.   Unable to show herself to anyone without being attacked on sight, Kana continued to assist Shinzo in his future research, and in doing so, Shinzo grew to trust her. He entrusted the secrecy and safety of his crypt, the place of his experiments, to her.

Education

Kana was taught by Sheikah monks and by Shinzo himself

Employment

Kana works with Shinzo to protect the crypt

Accomplishments & Achievements

Kana has taken down great beasts and powerful warriors. She is incredibly strong, and her skills have been honed for centuries.

Failures & Embarrassments

Kana recently missed Sumrak opening the crypt, allowing children to wander into the place. She went to tend to the children, who became gravely ill, but that allowed some constructs to escape.

Mental Trauma

Kana was on the front lines fighting as a child, and there she and her sister were terribly wounded.   Kana was transformed into an abomination through a painful procedure so traumatizing that she could not remember the events leading to or during them.

Intellectual Characteristics

Kana is very intelligent, but has not been studying or learning for a long time.

Morality & Philosophy

Kana believes, much like Shinzo, that the gods may not be as benevolent as the mortals believe. Immortality has changed her perspective on much.

Taboos

Kana is a Taboo

Personality Characteristics

Motivation

Kana continues to carry out her order, understanding that what lies in the Crypt is much too dangerous for Hyrule.

Savvies & Ineptitudes

Kana is intelligent and strong, but she often miscalculates and judges far too quickly.

Likes & Dislikes

Kana likes simple things: the children laughing, the wind in the grass, the frogs in the pond, and other such things. It's what keeps her going day after day.

Virtues & Personality perks

Kana is confident and proud. She will not be pressured into anything.

Vices & Personality flaws

Although she has origins as a Sheikah, she witnessed what Shinzo went through. She has chosen to no longer care about the Royal family... or anything really. Her apathy runs very deep and drives her to be rather passive.

Personality Quirks

Kana hasn't socialized in centuries. Her behaviors and mannerisms can be off putting due to lack of practice.

Social

Mannerisms

It is more her lack of mannerisms that set her apart. She speaks straightly, and with little to no movement.
