Protect the light of Hyrule

The Light spirits were created and sent by the golden goddesses to stop Shinzo/Magnus from controlling the triforce and enshrouding it in darkness. They broke his dark magic apart (the fused shadows) and banished him and his followers to the twilight realm. In doing so, they brought the stolen light back to Hyrule.   They reside across Hyrule as its protectors of light. However, during the era of twilight, Twili from the twilight realm came to Hyrule with The Demon King. They attacked the spirits and plunged Hyrule into darkness again. The hero restored order, though.

Their sole purpose is to protect Hyrule's light.

The Dimension Eater nearly slipped into Hyrule again, so the light spirit Sol had to enter the Twilight Realm to further seal him away.

The Twili have been consistent adversaries to the Spirits, and so the spirits greatly dislike them.

The light spirits want what is best for Hyrule in the long run. They will make harsh judgement if they believe that it will be better and safer for Hyrule.

They wish to protect Hyrule's light and fulfill their duty to the goddesses.

Light Spirit 1: Come, heroes/warriors/adventurers and listen to me. I recognize the dark presence of The Dimension Eater all about Hyrule. He is lashing out randomly through the curtain of space, taking what magic he can from this blessed kingdom. Your fates seem to be entwined with his, so I will tell you what Hyrule has long forgotten.   Long ago, before even the creation of the divine beasts, there was a great civil war. During that war, The Dimension Eater took hold of Hyrule, and with his magic, he ripped open a way to the sacred realm. Using dark magic that he had created, he seized unlimited control of the triforce, drained it of all its light, and plunged Hyrule into twilight. The gods would not stand for such an act, so the gods sent four light spirits to Hyrule, and they broke apart his magic and breathed new light into the land. Then, the gods ordered the light spirits to banish The Dimension Eater and his closest allies to the twilight realm, where he likely still remains.   I have been watching you all since you entered Necluda and traveled to Lanayru. I can see that you are honored by Nalu. Perhaps it is too big a burden to ask mere adventurers like yourself, but without a hero, you are Hyrule’s best hope. Will you take a stand against this ancient interloper? Then take my blessing and go (1 Hero token)   Light Spirit 2: The Dimension Eater’s power grows daily, and the echoes he left in Hyrule before his exile are increasing in volume. The Dimension Eater, despite his twisted views, was a courageous leader who led people of all kingdoms at least once during his life. He undoubtedly has servants acting in Hyrule in his name. If The Dimension Eater is to be stopped, his servants must also be stopped. The gods have already done everything they could to keep The Dimension Eater restrained. You are attempting to restrain him again, yes? Truthfully, I don’t think placing a seal on him again will work. He will simply keep tearing through the fabric of space again and again until he rips himself from the Twilight realm and into Hyrule. If he is truly to be stopped, you may need to fight him before he comes to Hyrule. You may be faced with an impossible battle, but I must still ask, heroes approved by the ancient spirits, please protect Hyrule. Protect the very fabric of the world you reside in, for there is no other champion we can call upon. Take my blessing and go (Hero Token)   Light Spirit 3: You are the ones Lanayru spoke of? The ones that are aware of The Dimension Eater is returning? I can sense his presence all about Hyrule, clawing at its magic. Thank the goddesses he seems to be striking with little accuracy, or else we’d already be devoured… much like what I fear has happened to Sol. This is not the only time Magnus has tried to return from his exile. The first time he tried, the gods sent Sol, a fifth light spirit, into the twilight realm to seal him away in there. It is terrifying that even buried below her light in a separate realm that he is able to reach into our blessed kingdom. Be careful, young heroes. The Dimension Eater is a bold man and there is little that will deter him. Know that you have the blessings of the light spirits in your quest. Now, except my blessing. (1 hero token)   Light Spirit 4: Allow me to give you a fair warning of what you may face. You may already know this, but The Dimension Eater is not only reaching into Hyrule. It is clear that adjacent realms are equally under attack from the Dimension Eater. Be careful. In realms that are not under the guardianship of light spirits, he will likely have great influence. Be wary of trickery and deceit; Magnus is no fool. His specialty is twisting wisdom to his whim. If you have the courage to confront The Dimension Eater, know that there is no connection between Hyrule and the Twili Realm anymore. You will either have to wait for him to come to Hyrule, or you will have to make a new path. Somewhere in Hyrule lies the mechanism to recreate the broken mirrors. It's name is The Forge of Tears, but be aware that there are people in Hyrule who are dedicated to protecting the secrets of the forge, and pursuing it may have dangers you cannot foresee. However, if you can find it, you will be able to go to The Dimension Eater directly. Regardless, take my blessing (hero token) as it will help you in your quest.
