Around 500 years before the Great Rift opening, the world enjoyed unprecedented peace, prosperity, and magical stability. This was a time when kingdoms stood tall, heroes walked among the people, and magic was as natural as the wind.
Scholars and historians regard this period as the last great light before the long night - a time of harmony that now lives on in myths, monuments, and the dreams of those who remember.
Even now, in Glacithae, bards sing of the forgotten splendor, and some mages search for spells rumored to have been lost when the Realms fell.
