Three cities vanish overnight. Echoes of their final moments flicker through the ruins, repeating endlessly like spectral memories.

In 390 BG, three major settlements — their names stricken from most surviving records — mysteriously disappeared in a single night. No survivors. No bodies. Just empty streets, abandoned belongings, and a profound silence that blankets each site.   Worse still, phantom echoes began to manifest within the ruins. Witnesses report seeing and hearing flickers of the cities’ last moments: meals being prepared, conversations held, children playing — all looping like broken memories. These echoes are not illusions, but incorporeal, semi-sentient impressions of the vanished.   This was the first undeniable sign that the world was changing. While scholars from the Arcane Concord sounded alarms, most leaders dismissed the phenomenon or suppressed it, fearing mass panic. Maps were redrawn. The ruins were quarantined or "lost" to natural disasters in official record.   Among the Gloamseekers, this event is known as the First Unweaving, seen as proof that the veil of reality was beginning to thin.   Consequences:
