House Rules

In Giashen Campaign these House rules are in effect:

  1. When including sources from Tashas Cauldron consult the DM
  2. We are using Spell Points Variant Rules
  3. Gritty long rest
  4. SR - 8h
  5. LR - Týden
  6. Healers Kit Dependency (V technologii)
  7. A character can’t spend any Hit Dice after finishing a short rest until someone expends one use of a healer’s kit to bandage and treat the character’s wounds.
  8. New healers kit has 10 charges, and costs 5 GP
  9. Lingering Injuries
  10. If a chracter falls to 0 HP, player makes DC 14 Constitution saving throw, on failed save DM determines dominant damage type and rolls on lingering injury table
  11. In times of magic there are many ways how to treat lingering injuries - potions, lesser/greater restoration, other applicable healing spells
  12. In times of technology characters must seek help from qualified doctors and surgeons
  13. Death, Revivify a Ressurection
  14. Death DC: Base DC 10, each time creature dies DC rises by 2
  15. Rapid resurrection (Revivify) - ressurected player makes D20 roll with casters spell casting ability modifier against creatures Death DC. On failure Death DC rises by 1, and creature must be resurrected by spell with casting time longer than 1 action.
  16. Resurrection ritual - spell with casting time longer than 1 action. Up to three creatures can help with the ritual. DC (and skill) used for the help are determined by DM.
    Success = -3 to death DC, Fail = +3 to Death DC of this ritual.
    Final roll (made by ressurected player) is against final Death DC modified by help in the ritual.
    Success = if soul is willing it returns to life
    Fail = soul is lost forever and cannot be ressurected
    Only Wish and True Resurrection can bypass this ritual. They can also call back soul that has once failed to return.
  17. Repeated death saving throws
  18. Each time character falls into death saving throws, it chances of dying increases. Every consecutive time over short rest stacks with +1 automatically failed death save
  19. aka. 1st time below 0 HP is OK, 2nd time below 0 HP = 1 automatically failed death save, 3rd time = 2 autofailed death saves, 4th time = death
