Rifles V7.8-GFP; Verschluss 7.8mm. Gewehr fünf Patronen (Bolt Action 7mm. Rifle five Cartridges)The V7.8 is the most commonly issued weapon in the Heimatwelter military, holding five rounds, with a useful range of 1000 yards, though most shots are not taken over 200. The rifle itself weighs 8.5 lbs Loaded with a stripper clip that is ejected when the bolt is closed, the V7.8 has a turned down bolt handle. The end of the rifle sports a bayonet lug and a cleaning rod, along with a sling mount. The back of the stock has a hatch for more cleaning supplies. The sights are iron (Although scopes can be put on it), the sights are adjustable up to 1500 yards, even though it would be nigh impossible to make such a shot with the rifle. GS-6.7-G; Geschraubter Scharfschütze 6,7 mm. Gewehr (Bolted Marksman 6.7mm. Rifle)
The GS-6.7 is a marksmans rifle, given to the soldiers that test highly in their shooting training. Loaded with five rounds, it can fire much farther than the V7.8, with a maximum range of 2000 yards. Depending on the shooter they can coax just a little more out of it, the farthest recorded shot being 2500 yards by a Heimatwelter sniper team. The rifle itself weighs 9 lbs Loaded with a five round magazine, the GS-6.7 is built strangely, with a bolt, that when pulled back, snaps forward. The bolt is straight and is on the side. Most GS-6.7s have scopes, though there are versions that have iron sights, though they're not common. Machine Guns Heimatwelt uses 3 configurations of ammunition, including:
Panzerbrechen/Hochexplosiver weißer Phosphor/Leuchtspur/Panzerbrechen
Heimlichkeit/Heimlichkeit/Brandstiftung/Kugel
Panzerbrechender Brandsatz/Kugel/Leuchtspur/Kugel
9,7 mm. Schweres Montiertes Maschinengewehr (9.7mm. Heavy Mounted Machine Gun)
The SMM is the Heimatwelter heavy machine gun, used for gun positions, mechs, and trucks. It fires at around 450-600 rounds per minute. It also has a single fire option, although some soldiers customize their SMMs so the single fire option doesn't work. It can fire upwards of 4000 yards, although it really can only hit from around 400 yards. The vehicle mounted version weighs around 84 lbs, while the mobile version weighs 124, as it gets a tripod, a heavier bolt to compensate recoil, and a burn guard at the end. The charging handle is a large handle on the right side of the gun, which has to be racked back to open the flap, and put a new belt in. Then closed when the belt is properly fed. It is possible to switch feeding and charging handle, moving the charging handle to the left and feeding to the right. Loaded with a 200 round ammo can, or straight from a large case. It can either have a leaf sights, anti aircraft sights, or normal rifle iron sights. Garakuta commonly use SMMs as their carried hmgs. 8mm. Kader Unterdrückung leichtes Maschinengewehr (8mm. Squad Suppression Light Machine Gun)
the KULM is the Heimatwelter Light machinegun, used for both infantry and any place a SMM would not do as good. It fires at a blistering 1300 rounds per minute, which requires a quick change barrel, in case of overheating. Soldiers are taught to fire the KULM in short controlled bursts to keep the barrel from overheating. The 8mm can go around 300 yards, with a maximum of around 1500. The machine gun weighs 25 lbs, and can fully operated by one soldier, although having two ammo carriers would be helpful. The charging handle has a strange design. By pulling the bolt back and pushing it up, the action is locked open, allowing the opening of the belt flap. Afterwards the bolt is pushed down and snaps forward, though most smack it with the edge of their hand to drop it in quicker. The action will not automatically lock open. It is most commonly used with a one hundred round drum magazine, though machine gun nests will use belts for longer firing. It can have leaf, anti aircraft, normal irons, or, sometimes, a telescopic sights Launchers 30mm Antipersonen-Granatwerfer (30mm Antipersonnel Grenade Launcher)
The 30mm AG (30 Mike Mike) is a 6 shot revolving pump grenade launcher designed for both Anti-riot, and Anti Personnel combat. Loaded by breaking the front open like a shotgun and dropping 30mm shells into the chambers. Cycled by pumping the handle in the front of the grenade launcher. The launcher can fire up to 100 yards. Firing smoke, Duel purpose (Penetrating soft and hard targets), Multiple Projectile (24 20 gauge balls), High explosive, Shrapnel, Illumination, Tear gas, Thermobaric, Spounge and Chalk grenades. It weighs around 12lbs. 60mm. Antimechanisierter Raketenwerfer (60mm Anti Mechenized Rocket Launcher)
A single use rocket propelled charge, the 60AR has been in use since the age of mechs. Light, and powerful, it still holds a place in combat. The weapon itself is a large tube, with a shape charge at the end. There is a leaf sight set on the tube, and a paddle handle as a trigger. A pin must be pulled from both the shape charge and the paddle handle to fire the rocket. It can be fired up to 100 yards, after that the rocket loses charge and falls short. It can penetrate most armor if fired at the right angles. It weighs 13lbs 120mm. Hochexplosiv Raketenwerfer (120mm. High Explosive Rocket Launcher)
Created more recently, the HR120 is replacing the older 60AR. A reloadable tube, capable of firing more powerful rockets at longer distances. Loaded in the front, the Raketentreibende Granate must be locked into place for the igniting mechanism to work. The tube itself is longer, placed on the operaters shoulder, with a grip and trigger for the right hand, and a foldable telescopic sight. The left hand holds onto a sideways grip further down the tube, allowing line of sight for the scope. It can fire up to 900 yards, at which it will explode. It weighs 13lbs without the scope, and 15lbs with it. Shotguns Heimatwelt shotguns carry _ shell types, which are:
Buckshot: 10 large pellets, used for human combat and hunting
Birdshot: 40 little pellets, used for bird hunting or injuring targets
Slug: 1 large bullet, used for human combat and hunting
Gas: 1 small container carrying gas, used for police
Tack: 5 small tacks, also called Frechette shells
Dragons Breath: fires 10 white phosphorus pellets, used as a short-range flamethrower.
Bolo: 2 large pellets with a wire between them
Frag: Explosive fin stabilized high explosive rounds, used against light vehicles or breaching a building.
Magnum: 5 pistol caliber rounds, used as a heavier hitting combat and hunting round
R10K; Revolverflinte 10 Kaliber (Revolving Shotgun 10 Gauge)
One of the most common shotguns in Heimatwelt, the R10K is a revolver shotgun that looks similar to the 30 Mike Mike. Except no pump or leaf sight. Instead it is cycled by pulling back on the hammer, like a revolver. Firing a 10 gauge shell, the R10K is one of the most powerful shotguns in the world. Even as Heimatwelt transitions to the 12KNS, the Dünenreiters still use them due to being able to fire them one handed. No sights due to its nature. It weighs around 9 pounds and holds 6 shells. 12KNS; 12 Kaliber Nahkampf Streuwaffe (12 Gauge Close Quarters Combat Scatter Gun)
A bullpup pump action shotgun, the 12KNS is pushing the R10K out of usage by ground troops, due to its high ammo capacity. The 12KNS has two tubes for holding shells, allowing it an ammo capacity of 24+1 capacity. While a little bulky, the KNS is well received due to its comfortable handling and stock, which removes some of the recoil the user takes. The pump is a grip on the forepart of the gun, although some soldiers remove it and use just the flat grip. To load it, the soldier will load each tube separately. While firing, the shotgun will empty one tube, then switch automatically to the other, although there is a manual switch near the trigger. The shells are ejected out the back, from the same hole where it is loaded. It weighs around 6lbs. Submachine Guns UMP-10; 10 mm. Unterdrückungs-Maschinenpistole (10mm. Suppressive Submachine Gun)
A larger submachine gun used by soldiers, it has about the same size as a rifle. Loaded with a 70 round drum mag, the UMP-10 fires around 950 rounds per minute. It weighs 11lbs The action is similar to the real world M3 Grease Gun, by just being the internal bolt. To cycle the soldier puts his fingers into the ejection port and racks it back. The ejection port is open until the bolt slams forward, firing the round. When empty the bolt locks in the closed position. There is a dust cover over the ejection port that can be closed as a second safety. Which prevents the bolt from going forward and firing the round. The bolt also has a finger cut in it, so the soldiers can rack the bold easier. The submachine gun is used often from firing from the hip, although some soldiers have used it as a marksman's weapon. Some UMP-10s are sent to the Whitehowlers and the Maiti no jōnetsuan Shogunate, due to their reliability. MKM-10; 10 mm. Mechanisierte Kompakt-Maschinenpistole (10mm. Mechanized Compact Submachine Gun)
A mech ops weapon, small, and portable. The MKM fires a slow 400 rounds per minute, with a 32 round magazine. It's slow fire system and smooth action make it so the sights end up back on target, if the user knows how to shoot correctly. It weighs 8lbs. It follows the same action as the UMP-10, with the same dust cover. Commonly placed in Mechs as their personal weapon, the MKM-10 is also used for special forces, and police.
Sidearms
PS-10; 10mm Persönliche Sicherungswaffe (10mm. Personal Backup Weapon)A 10mm pistol, used by military, police, and normal civilians. Holding 10 rounds, loaded by a stripper clip. It has a long barrel and decent recoil, though a good shooter can compensate for it. It is a full sized pistol and is hard to conceal. It weighs 3lbs. The action is strange, locked back by flicking a lever and pulling back on the ambi-charging handle. The action is then closed by flicking the lever. When the stripper clip is hooked in, closing the action will eject it. UBW; 7,94 mm. Überbrückungswaffe (7.94mm. Holdout Weapon)
A concealed pistol, holding 9 rounds in a grip magazine. Short barreled and easy to control, even by new shooters. It weighs around 1.3lbs. Cocked by racking the slide. It is a double action hammer, which causes the trigger to have a harder pull. If the hammer is cocked before pulling the trigger, it becomes easier to pull. HP12; 12,7 mm. Handgelenkbrecher Pistole (12.7mm. Wrist Breaker Pistol)
A massive 8 shot pistol, nicknamed the handgelenkbrecher (Wrist Breaker Pistol) by soldiers, used by officers as a sort of proof of rank, although they don't commonly use it in battle. It weighs 4.4lbs Using about the same action as the UBW. Except for having an internal hammer.
Primary Rifles .450 Barcan Service Rifle
The common service rifle for Whitehowler Mercenaries, copied from Heimatwelter rifles. Though in a larger caliber for the Whitehowlers. The Barcan weighs in at 9lbs. Firing upwards 300 yards, with a maximum of 1200 yards. The end holds a bayonet lug, and a sling hook. The Barcan has a curved handled bolt, and common iron sights, along with the ability to put a scope on. .245 Talgo Service Rifle
The smaller service rifle for the Whitehowlers. It is a downsized version of the Barcan. Weighing 8.5 pounds, copying everything the Barcan has, including the bayonet lug, the sling hook, the curved bolt, and the ability to mount a scope. Machine Guns .450 Havi Light Machine Gun
A rebuilt Barcan rifle, the Havi was a fully automatic light machine gun, capable of firing 300 yards, to a maximum of 900. Bulky, though not unwieldy, the Havi was built during a time of need, when the first monsters started appearing in the world, Joesph Havi took the Barcan rifle, and put together a conversion kit, turning the Barcan in to the Havi. The Havi weighs 19lbs, and holds 30 rounds in a drum magazine. The bolt is in the same position but is now unlocked to fire quicker. No scopes are able to be put on, and the sights are set off to one side slightly. The rifle is able to be completely submerged in mud and continue firing. .650 Wimban Heavy Mounted Machine Gun The Wimban is the Heavy Machine Gun of the Whitehowlers. Unable to be carried by a single soldier, it is normally put on an artillery like chassis and rolled around the battlefields. Weighing in at 346 lbs. The Wimban has a massive amount of recoil due to its ammo. Firing 600 rounds per minute, from a massive 400 round box attached to the wheeled cart. It normally has an aircraft sight. .308 Patton Point Suppression Medium Machine Gun The Patton machine gun is one of the most reliable medium machine guns in the world, able to fire for a continuous 12 hours with only switching out barrels.
