Sardonicus

Malefactor

Sardonicus (a.k.a. Jester from the Black Lagoon)

Sardonicus is a Westonhood malefactor shrouded in literal darkess, operating with an unknown ability (thought to be an unidentified form of mischief magic) to travel through any shadow in the universe. He is a successful, but darkly sarcastic charmer in conversation, and uses his observations to play into his victims' fears of the dark.

Mental characteristics

Personal history

Sardonicus' first appearance is in Issue No. 1 where he is seen robbing a jewelry store. A police officer attempts to stop Sardonicus by cornering him in an alleyway with his squad car. However, the spotlights on the top of the car cast a shadow of the officer on the wall behind Sardonicus and he jumps into the shadow, evading capture.

Social

Mannerisms

Sardonicus will often hyperbolize his expressions, mocking those he encounters. In his first apperance, he takes on the likeness of The Scream by Edvard Munch to mock a police officer pointing a gun, as it holds zero threat to him.
