Utility Airship

Utility Airships are large Aircraft desinged to carry large amounts of cargo or passengers over very long distances. Due to their size, airships require eihter a large plot of flat ground to safley land at, or a tall structure they can moor themselves to. As such, most airports have areas for airships and many large ports have sections dedicated to airships.   An airship can make cross globe trips with ease, though it moves at a significantly slower pace than an airplane and is considerably more expensive to operate. However, this can be offset by sheer carrying capacity with a single airship being able to carry what would otherwise take a convoy of planes. Airships have been instrumental in keeping the Republicans and their allies supplied during the ongoing war on Iyass. Airships fly at fairly low altitude compared to airplanes. Modern airships use diesel engines for movement, which is considerably more efficient and clean than the coal powered ships of the early industrial era. The crew of an airship might carry weapons to fire at any potential threats, and it is possible to mount weapons to the deck of an airship for added defenses.
