Kra'Rei (kraw-ray)

Kra'Rei has a pair of prosthetic steel wings. These wings are wired directly into his nervous systen so he can control them the same way he could his natural wings. The mechanical nature of these wings give him an edge in flight and allow him to fly slightly faster than those with natural wings.

Kra'Rei was born in a monastery in the Esoran city of Rull'iak. Kra'Reis family was very pious and full of monks and priests who dedicated their lives to serve Ducetia, the god of freedom and good fortune. Kra'Rei spent most of his childhood either in a monastery studying religious texts or in the forests hunting for food using the Kar81 Condor his father gave him.   When he turned 15 he immigrated to the Republic Of Adreal and settled down in the city of Farbanti so he could spread Ducetia's teachings to a new land. He managed to open a monastery in the city where he would give words of encouragement and advice to visitors.   After spending 20 years in Farbanti, he decided that his teachings might better suit the people of Silveria, where unrest was causing innocent people to suffer. He moved once more, set up another monastery and often visited areas where violence was common in order to offer refuge those caught in the crossfire. Those who accepted his offer would live in his monastery where they would be safe from the violence that plagued the city.   One of those he sheltered, a human teenage girl named Sherry Linford, took his teachings to heart and became an acolyte with dreams of becoming a monk. as the years went on, Kra'Rei began to view Sherry as more of a daughter than an acolyte.   5 years after moving to Silveria, a surge in nationalist activity took place. The nationalists, targeted Kra'Reis monestary as a way of showing the non elves of Silveria that there was nowhere they could hide.   On a cold and rainy October night the nationalists attacked. They covered the building in flammable oil then one of them casted a fire spell, causing the monastery to go up in flames. Those who tried to flee the burning structure were struck down by snipers positioned on nearby rooftops. Kra'Rei and Sherry managed to escape through a back entrance, but were then caught by nationalists. The two were dragged into a back alley where they were tortured.   3 of the captors took turns raping sherry, while another used a serrated blade to saw off Kra'Rei's wings. When the elves were finished having their way with sherry, they beheaded her. The elves then left Kra'Rei in the alley to bleed out.   Kra'Rei magaged to crawl his way a few blocks tothe house of an artificer who used to seek shelter in his now destroyed monastery. The artificer managed to nurse Kra'Rei back to health, and created a set of fully functioning prosthetic wings for him. While he was recovering, Kra'Rei swore vengeance on the nationalists and began to modify the only possession he had left: his old hunting rifle, turing it into something more deadly   Once he was fully recovered, Kra'Rei began prowling the streets, killing any nationalist he could find. The nationalists began to fear him, most Silveria residents saw him as a hero of sorts and the city's police looked to apprehend him for fear that he'd begin commiting hate crimes against elves.   After a 3 week killing spree and over 80 dead bodies, nationalist activity began to decrease. Kra'Rei seemingly disappeared after this, and nobody knew his whereabouts for nearly 4 years.   However, he has recently been seen in Kentar, where it is believed by some he may attempt another killing spree.

Kra'Rei has a strong belief that those who would harm the innocent are too dangerous to keep alive.

Kra'Rei is still a strong follower of Ducetia. He firmly belives that to acheive divinity, one must help those in need and do whatever they can to make the world a better place. He belives it is his divine right to punish those who would prey upon others.
