Deerachind (deer-ak-nid)
A deerachnid is a mutated creature living in the Whitesburg Exclusion Zone that somewhat resembles a deer with eight legs that end in razor sharp hooves. The deerachnid is most well known for its constant shrieking , a sound so horrible that it drives most of its predators away, leaving the creature to feed on grasses and ground plants. Those that can endure the noise may be ensnared within a web launched from the creature's mouth.
Deerachnids are higley territorial and will become aggressive if aproached.
