Aroura Gas Grenade

WARNING!! THIS ITEM IS CLASSIFIED AS A WEAPON OF MASS DESTRUCION!! USE WITH EXTREME CAUTION This grenade is a terrifying weapon that can cause extreme damage to most living things. The Aurora gas this grenade disperses is extremely lethal and has long lasting effects on both the environment and those who survive an encounter with it. Upon detonating, a large cloud of toxic gas appears and lasts 12 hours.   Upon dissipating, the toxins will seep into any porous surface within the blast radius, such as concrete, rocks and soil. The contamination will last indefinitely. Contaminated areas can be easily seen as most or all the vegetation has been killed and a thin greenish yellow dust will coat most surfaces. This dust can be kicked up and spread through the air if disturbed. All creatures in contaminated areas take 1D4 poison damage for every 1 minute spent in the area.   Aurora gas become more dangerous in wet conditions, causing extra damage and more widespread contamination. Use near bodies of water or wet areas is strongly discouraged. The gas clouds have a yellowish green color and smells strongly of sulfur and gasoline. If exposed to ozone or intense UV light, the gas turns to a bluish green color similar to an Aurora Borealis, hence it's name.   Any creature not immune to poison inside a gas cloud will take 4D20 poison damage for every 1 minute they remain in the cloud. A creature in the cloud must make a DC 18 constitution check or be poisoned for 1D12 turns. A poisoned creature will take 1D10 poison damage per turn until they are dead or no longer poisoned. If the creature is still inside the gas cloud they will take damage from the gas and poisoning simultaneously.   Donning a gas mask will grant immunity to the effects of Aurora gas.
