Aleixo

"I sit atop the world from my throne in Varas. I speak and the gods hold their tongues."
—Aleixo
Afónseo Aleixo Clódeo Daçiano (Vallaran: Alfōnsus Aleixus Claudius Daciānus) was a Varaso general, king, sorcerer, and first Varaso emperor. Aleixo greatly expanded the kingdom and instituted a myriad of governmental reforms culminating in the Varaso claim of imperium in perpetuō over its subject lands, integrating them further into the state as permanent and essential parts of Varas, rather than their previous status as conquered or tributary states. This action is generally used to delineate the beginning of the Varaso Empire.
