Thornbite

Easily the most obscure of the Teeth of Ororegg, Thronbite is a small, slender blade designed to pierce flesh, hide, and armor alike. More precise than its siblings, Thornbite requires a delicate hand to wield it. In the hands of a skilled duelist, however, Thornbite can pierce a heart protected by mail with ease, granting the weapon a somewhat insidious history.   Rumors of the blade's mastery of the mortal condition suggest it can understand the emotions of those around it. Perhaps its creators intended for it to be able to read thoughts, or perhaps it simply grasps mortality better than any of its counterparts. In any event, the wielders of Thornbite have often reported that they can hear the thoughts of those around them as if they were their own, but have no idea how to replicate the effect.   Thornbite is a quiet blade, and not only because of the ease with which it rends flesh. Reports from those who carried it into battle suggest the blade is sentient like the other Teeth, but is clam and calculating. The blade is never described as shy, but rather completely mute until it has a point to make, at which point a very simple yet precise image will enter the mind's eye of its bearer.
