In an audacious move, UCG forces seized and fortified the Psi Serpentis System, not for its resources, but for positional control and to deny enemy movement. Although the system held little strategic value on its own, it became a beacon of resolve. Retaining control required extraordinary sacrifice but sent a clear signal: the UCG would no longer retreat.

Psi Serpentis was transformed into a sensor net and comms relay hub, becoming a keystone in the Outer Defense Grid that protected Helice-12.
