In a rare and desperate counteroffensive, the UCG launched Operation Mourning Pyre, a months-long campaign to reclaim New Harmony, a once-vital Outer Colony shattered by years of Exiled occupation. The DMDF fought across the planet's surface and orbital shell in a campaign that claimed over 8 million lives.

Victory was achieved at a significant cost. The UCG planted its banner upon a planet soaked in martyrs' and monsters' blood.
