History
The first Trailblazers were the first british company of Supreme soldiers in the second world war. being deployed as a first answer to the ubermench of nazi germany the original team were meant to pulicly show the worried and frightened populations of the allied countries that not all was lost, and that finally, the superhuman playing field has been leveled.
That incarnation were disbanded after the war was over by prime minister churchil, their members returning to serve the british empire across the globe.
in the late 1960s the name was co opted by a group of british heroes who protested the state of the empire, calling for the release of the british colonies such as india, burma and others. this group consisted mostly of british colonial citizens and were condemed by prime minister churchil as ungrateful and shaming the name. after the release of india in 1972 the group kept fighting for the release of other teritories but lost on their popularity, and after a year, in 1973 a new incarnation of the team appeared, while the last was still active. The 3rd group to carry the trailblazer name were presented by the churchil goverment, which at this point was starting to lose popularity after over 3 decades of rule, they were proud citizens of the british empire and clashed often with the 2nd team, winning out through goverment sponsorship and a greater zeal. after retiring the previous team this team continued to exist with shifting membership, and reduced popularity as the empire started waining with the globalization of powers across the globe, the nationalistic slump of the 1980s and 1990s alongside the unpopular short rule of margaret thatcher has brought the team back to relative obscurity. in the early 2000s with G.E.A.R gaining in power and popularity, as well as the rise of the super hero as celebrity in popular culture and the worries of it's cheapened status, the heads of G.E.A.R's powered security council (PSC) formed the latest version of the Trailblazers.
Carrying the name of the first super team to harkon back to a simpler time, the trailblazers function now as a first response to any threat too large for any one hero to handle, they set the example for the global heroic age that sprung out of the 90s and early oughts existing into the present times with a flux in membership every few years.
