The Black Suns War
At the turn of galactic century they came. Strange creatures, clad in arcane armor unknown to any of the coalition races, as they went they purged world after world, taking apart and consuming them into their black sun vessels. The species of the galaxy took to long to unite, perhaps if the coalition was formed in those early days the black suns could have been turned back...
After almost 200 earth years of conflict, the battle was lost as the 5 black suns and an army of mercenaries encroached on the last few standing solar systems. in their desperation, the remaining 500 or so species put their memories and sages and stored them in the atmans, aboard the great arc and into the unknown, to ensure their survival in some form.
The Conflict
Prelude
The black suns appeared out of nowhere, made no demands and claimed the galaxy as their birthright to do with as they pleased.
Deployment
After their innitial arrival at the southern ends of the galaxy, the black suns made their way around the galactic axis, conquoring as they went, until they eventually made it to the center, which has become the coalition's base of operations during the war.

The Engagement
The battles raged across the galaxy, first conflicts were a Massacare with the unprepared planets on the outer rims falling to the Black suns. Once the coalition started fighting as one, the tide shifted, but it was too late.
Outcome
The black suns Claimed all remaining systems, some were consumed to power their Black sun vessels some were left for inhabitation, manny of the races were driven to extinction by their homeworld's destruction.
Aftermath
The new established Black sun empire has taken the place of the old Coalition in swarga Loka, establishing new trade deals and searching for the missing arc.
Historical Significance
Legacy
The destruction and mass extinction caused by the war destabalised the entire galaxy, reducing life within it significantly and creating a new center of power where the black suns now dwell.
In Literature
many historical documents about the war and the various races that fell in it are now stored within the Atmans alongside the historians tasked with writing and preserving those texts.
Technological Advancement
The intergalactic megadrive which was used to bring the matsya to earth was stolen tech from one of the few destroyed black suns, the Atmans used to store the memories and conciousness of the sages of Swarga Loka also originated with designs stolen from the black sun soldiers and their armaments.
