Red rush is a local superhero in the downtown london area, responsible for a large part of haringey her powers are limited to super speed, reaching close to the sound barrier but not passing it, with acceleration of 1 to 500 km/h in a matter of seconds.
In her civilian identity, rush is Karen Gillian, a hard working devorcee who takes care of her child every other week, her hero career is a passion which she devoted too much time to, which eventually cost her her marrige, now she tries to balance her duties to her child nicky as well as try to sustain a regular job... which isn't going great.

Red rush can run up to approximately 1000 km/h unassisted, accelerating fast into these speeds, not quite able to break the sound barrier, she is considered in the mid range of speedsters.
Apparel & Accessories
Due to her high speeds, Rush needs a speciallised suit made to withstand the friction her speed generates, it was manifactured by Zaia technologies and sold to the public, hers is red and includes a yellow set of goggles to shield her eyes from the winds.
Out of costume she dresses as an office clerk for her daily job at an office, which she maintains alongside her super hero gig to make end's meet as a single mother.

Personal history
At the age of 15, Rush manifested her speed, an inherited trait from her deceased grandfather, using it to fight crime she made her junior license a year and a half later, and started practicing as a hero at the age of 21.
Since she dedicated herself to the heroic lifestyle, not going too far, as almost a decade and a half later it has cost her her relationship with her now ex husband, and her child. now trying to make end's meet while still running after her dream, she made a break by recieving a protector contract from the city of london, taking care of a large swath of haringey, one of the citie's suburbs.
