Isolde Von Everec

Isolde Von Everec is the daughter of Otto Von Everec, a German Archduke of the Von Everec lineage. She was born on 915 AD, and quickly showed great talent for the arcane arts. Schooled by the best tutors available she quickly grew into a vicious, intelligent sorceress. At the age of 33 her father passed away due to illness and she received the title of Duchess Von Everec. During the beginning of the Morganian Revolts, while her brothers declined to answer Camelot's call for arms, Isolde decided to go off with her son, Gottfried, and forge a name for herself in the capitol of magic. She excelled during the Revolts as a smith of powerful magical weapons, as was the Von Everec reputation for arms making. Her great innovation was that she was knowledgeable enough in the ways of magic so that she could bind the magical creatures captured by the Merlinians, and force them into a dormant stasis within her masterfully crafted weapons. These weapons were then used to great effect by the Merlinian wizards, as they allowed them to channel the magical strength of the wild through their magic. This in turn allowed her to gain greater status within the Merlinian Order, and finally earned her the rank of Supreme Magus Securitas and a member of the Merlinian Council.   However, it later turned out that these unique weapons proved to be a double-edged sword. Adapting to the new strategy, Morgana's revolutionaries were able to break the seals on the weapons, thus turning the tides of several important encounters as the Merlinians found themselves fighting both their intended opponents and the now released beasts.   This has lead to a decline in Isolde's power and influence, and she eventually lost her position in the council, and replaced by Solomon Devir.
