Personal history
Elgrod was born into a loving Firbolg family in a small Firbolg community south of Grimgate. Despite his privileged upbringing, he struggled with alcoholism and often spent his nights indulging in vices such as gambling and womanizing. His reputation as a womanizer had spread throughout the towns and villages surrounding Grimgate, which often landed him in trouble.
Two months ago, he was imprisoned by Mayor Danios Barnes of Alanor on false charges of crimes against morality, as the mayor was seeking revenge for Elgrod's lurid affair with his daughter. Fortunately, Elgrod was rescued by Yorgar the Dragondorn, a powerful dragonborn warrior, and Pukus the Goblin, a master inventor.
Since his rescue, Elgrod has been determined to turn his life around and make amends for his past mistakes. He has thrown himself into helping the refugees of the ongoing war and has assumed the mantle of mayor of Branchburg to help rebuild the town as a safe haven. Pukus, with his inventive skills, has been a valuable asset in their efforts.
Elgrod is a middle-aged Firbolg with a weathered face and a haunted look in his eyes. Though he once led a life of debauchery and excess, he has recently found a renewed sense of purpose in helping the refugees of the ongoing war. He is deeply committed to making amends for his past mistakes and has sworn off alcohol and other vices in order to focus on his mission.
