Bat Eye
Bat Eyes are semi-autonomous constructs created by artificers as spies and messengers. They are formed from a small metallic sphere with flapping wings. The sphere has an optical lens in the middle through which the Bat Eye can shoot magic missiles to defend itself. Build within are voice reseptors and a speaker.
A person must be attuned to the Bat Eye to be able to control it. The controller can see and hear everything near the Bat Eye, as well as speak through it.
The Prometech Institute is rumored to have developed a more capable upgrade they call Spy Eyes. Like their name suggests, they are used for scouting and espionage, and have the ability to move silently and go invisible.
