The Dawn Court
-Nestled in the forests down the coast from the Land of the Sun lies the home of the Ellyllon- the Court of the Dawn, the Vernal Court, the Eastern Court.
-The nexus of this Court is eternally enjoying the splendors of sunrise, with the eastern half of the sky bathed in glorious golds by a false rising sun, while also swathed in the glories of late spring when all of nature is in full bloom and the air yet lacks the harsh heat of summer. A compass brought into the nexus area would end up leading one in a circular path clockwise around the center of the nexus. Does this make sense according to the laws of physics? Nope, but it happens anyway
-The people of this Court are properly called Ellyllon (singular Ellyll), or elves (essentially most fairies have a "courtly" name used by the High Queen, the Gentry, and possibly the fairies themselves, and the common name that would be the translation used by those outside the Courts). They are some of the most humanlike in appearance, being abnormally gracile with large pointed ears and an iridescent sheen to their tinted skin.
-This Court's crystalline gift is (tentatively) called Thaumaprase; violet to fuchsia prismatic, translucent crystals (think tourmaline's shape) with silver flecks that can be infused with magic and store it to be drawn on later. Thaumaprase can be found in tiny lodes across the world, but is most common in large veins beneath the Dawn Court
