Basics:
Only incredibly powerful magicians (i.e. the gentry) can access the dreamscape at will.
Otherwise, the dreamscape can only be accessed via the Palace of the High Queen.
Each dream is contained within a bubble - this bubble can be accessed by those who enter the dreamscape through non-dreaming means. I think.
Things from the dreamscape can be taken into the real world.
