Aasimar (But Not)

Figure out a name for these guys?   (insert blurb about these being cool divinely touched races, their origin, how they're made, etc etc etc)  

"Rainbow", or "Dazzling"

aasimar born in the daytime! They're typically more active and extroverted, the type to be the life of the party! Rude people might describe them as "a bit much"

Their hair, eyes (full eyes, not just irises), and nails all oscillate between the colors of the rainbow (usually pretty slowly over the course of the day, but speeds up when they get excited!)   +2 CHA, Resistance to radiant damage Rainbow: +1 DEX, rainbow-flavored ranged healing hands  

"Lunar", or "Gleaming"

aasimar born at night! They're usually more passive and introverted (still very social!), and are much more likely to sit and take things in before acting. Those jealous of them would probably call them manipulative

Their hair, eyes (same as above), and nails mirror the current moon phases; either a shining white/silver, a deep black, or an appropriate mixture when not full or new   (important aesthetic note: how these change in regards to other phases is random between individuals. For example, a quarter moon might manifest as one eye as each color for one person, or both eyes as having half each for another person. Lmk if this need clarifying!).   +2 CHA, Resistance to radiant damage Lunar: +1 WIS, darkvision, moonbeam as a 2nd lvl spell; 1 per long rest at 3rd level    

Solar "Aasimar"

  Solar Aasimar have metallic skin and bright mono-color eyes (often red, gold, silver), that seem to move and shift like quicksilver as they walk. Their hair is bright and intense in color, and sometimes metallic-looking. They are naturally inclined to have bursts of intense social energy and focus, though they burn out rather quickly.   They are more durable and hardy- +1 Con, firebolt cantrip, fire spell progression    

Star "Aasimar"

  when any non-homogenous combination of aasimar procreate (which would result in that same kind of aasimar; solar/rainbow, lunar/rainbow, etc), there's a 1/3 chance each that the offspring will each be either one of the parents subrace, or a Star Aasimar.   Star Aasimar have pale hair, their pupils are the same color as their irises, and have a soft halo behind their head.   The color of each of these are either blue, yellow, or red, but pale enough to be almost white regardless of which.   Star Aasimar are vigilant watchers, usually content to observe life from a distance as opposed to actively engaging with the world. However, when push comes to shove, they have a tendency to react explosively.   They get +1 Intelligence, and I'm thinking like a Light or Dancing Light cantrip? Maybe the Scourge Aasimar's activated ability? Anything with radiant damage is good, p much    

Void "Aasimar"

  the rarest and least naturally social of the aasimar. they, like star aasimar can only come from two aasimar parents, and are most likely when the previous generations have all the other types expressed.   if anyone wants to do the actual gene math to make this work, be my guest, but essentially: where parent 1 (p1) is solar/lunar/rainbow (s/l/r) and parent 2 (p2) is s/l/r -> the child has 33% chance to be the same as p1, 33% p2, 33% Star (S) [of p1&p2], and 1% v) where p1 is s/l/r and p2 is S of same heritage (ex. l & S[l&r]) -> 40% p1, 45% p2, 5% v where p1 is S and p2 is S of same heritage (ex. both S[l&r]) -> 90% S, 10% v where p1 is s/l/r and p2 is S of different heritage (ex. L & S[s&r]) -> 33% p1, 33% p2, 34% v where p1 is S and p2 is S of different heritage (ex. S[l&r] & S[s&l]) -> 20% p1, 20% p2, 60% v and this all is probably not numbers that work with regular recessive/dominant gene expression, but fuck it I Like The Numbers anyway, on to an actual description lol.   like the others, they get +2 cha, but also +1 str. they have an affinity for (and resistance to) force damage. they all have a re-skinned Mage Hand cantrip wherein there is no visible hand (that I am definitely Not calling The Force and anyone who does is Blocked). if they have the ability to cast 6th level spells, regardless of class, they have access to Disintegrate (it still expends a spell slot).   hair and nails on these guys are nearly vantablack, with just the barest hint of reflection around the edges. eyes and behind their teeth (including tongue) are full void black – 0 light reflection.   they are commonly either find a knack to Being Very Strong or hiding in darkness.
