Timago II
Bulletin
Age: 27
Eyes: Red
Stature: Athletic
Description: Tiago II is a smart idealist, but certainly can be pragmatic if that is required. He is well versed with the spear, bow and sword and is a decent rider. His strength is his exceptional ability as captain and leader. His main weakness is his inablity to work with people of questionable character.
Childhood
Timago was born as fifth son to King Doma III of Bocamar, his mother unfortunately passing in childbirth.
Without his mother Doma IV payed little to no attention to Timago, and raising him was left to the court tutors.
Without the protection of a mother or father to speak for him Timago was soon bullied by his brothers and the other children at court.
Without any friends or family to boost his career Timago was set for a calm life as court administrator but fate had different ideas.
Early Adulthood
As part of his education Timago was introduced to topics such as Navigation, Strategy and Statecraft. During one such lessions Timago was introduced to Palo "Oakenheart" head of the Bocamarian Shipwrightsguild and soon to be one of Timago's few friends. Through this connection Timago picked up an interest in Shipbuilding and developed a strong understanding of Bocamar's fleets strengths and weaknesses.

Adulthood
The Battle of Fortilla
The Fortilla Pirate Lordship had grown to uncontrollable levels of power since the first Bocaldarrian Struggle (Bocamar fighting Aldaar for control of the Arr trade). And had ever since been elevated to a full player in the Flow of Fate (Struggle for power in Garfarr since the Fall of its empire).
Soon Fortilla harmed Bocamarian trade to an extend that threatened the existence of the city itself and Doma III decided to act. Mustering a great fleet of mercenary captains and Bocamarian forces he set off with his sons commanding one ship each.
After months of skirmishing in the Bocaarr (Aar estuary) the climax of the first Bocaarr war dawned with the battle of Fortilla.
Doma IV and his admirals had successfully pushed Lord Captain Margila's fleet back into Fortilla's Fortress Harbour itself.
Doma III, now convinced of his fleets invincibility, ordered Fortilla's port to be stormed and all ships within set ablaze. Once Bocamar's fleet had entered the port however, Margila played his trump and a chain emerged from below waters to block of the Bocamarian retreat.
Now firmly trapped withing the harbour the Pirates set some of their ships ablaze and rammed them into Bocamars fleet. The Chaos and flames soon not only consumed many of Bocamars best ships and captains but also burned Doma IV alive on his flagship.
Now in full panic whoever could, tried to escape, but was blocked by the chain. Seeing this Timago decided to sacrifice his own life to save his countrymen, and his fathers legacy (the fleet). Timago commanded his ship to land at the western tower.
Tears streamed down the young princes face as he approched landfall.
"Life made us soldiers, to die for Bocamar makes us heroes."
Thus jumping off ship onto the beach him and his men stormed the tower, under near 100% casualties they took it and lower the chain.
Though most of Bocamar's navy had been anihilated a handfull of ships were thus helped to escape and so Timago and his men averted the complete destruction of King Doma III's legacy.
Shortly after completing this heroic feat. Fortilla's catapults fired on the tower and destroyed it, in full view of Bocamar's fleet. Everyone inside was believed to be dead and Bocamar's sailors mourned their heroes. When the fleet had returned to the city news spread fast of Doma's vanity and Timago's heroism.
Soon preparations began to coronate Timago's older brother Osar.
But fate again had other ideas as Timago soon washed up on shore in Garfadon.
As news of this spread the women of Bocamar thankful for Timago's act of bravery and self sacrifice that saved the lives of their sons, brothers and family members marched out to Garfadon and carried him all the way back to Bocamar, where Timago was proclaimed Timago II on the Altar of Sagraarr (Holy Aar) to the dismay of the bounced Osar and his younger brother Palomar. Without a choice other than to acknoledge Timago's popularity, they gave in in return for powerful positions at court where they try to this day to undermine Timago's reign.
Kingship
Unfortunately for Osar and Palomar, Timago soon proved to be a capable statesman. Aware that Bocamar was in no position to continue the war with Fortilla with its wrecked navy and its enemies within and without. Timago entered into an uneasy peace with Fortilla that grants Fortilla Tariff rights for all ships north of the river island that seperates Fortilla and Bocamar.
Timago has so far used this breathing room to put his house in order and rebuild the armed forces, the future will show what his legacy will be.
