Timagadorian Dynasty

The Timagadorian dynasty has ruled over Aldarr ever since the fall of the Garfarrian empire.
Timago I, founder of the dynasty was a powerfull Contararr mercenary leader and usurped power from the then ruling city council in 6 AG, turning Aldarr into a autocratic monarchy. While at first seen as tyrant usurper, Timago I of Aldarr oversaw the metoric rise of Aldarr, turning the city from a local power with twenty thousand inhabitants to a regional powerhouse with over onehundredthousand inhabitants.
His mighty Contararr fleet patrolled the Arrarmot collecting dues and taxes from ships passing by, while facilitating trade with the realms of the dwarfs to the northwest.
When Timago I died in 43 AG aged 103 years old he left a mighty inheritance.
The Aldarrian Fleet was by far the strongest in all of Garfarr, the state coffers where full to the brim and powerfull artisan and trade organizations had set up their headquarters in Aldarr, providing a lucrative source of funds to the state, while the troops where famous all over Garfarr and beyond for their discipline and conduct owing to their Contararr heritage.
s Though King Tiago I taking over aged 31 in 43 AG was unable to push this advantage and unite Garfarr once more under the Aldarrian banner, he nevertheless managed to vassalize some of the surrounding cities and cement the power of his family, fathering no less then 23 sons, entrenching the Timagodorian dynasty in administration and military, Tiago I is to this day considered a symbol for fertility and luck by many hoping for a son of their own.
Tiago I reign also saw the rise of a newly strengthened Bocamar under Doma I and tension grew between both families hoping to become the new hegemons of Garfarr.
While the Bocaldarrian struggle had not yet begun in earnest, many proxy conflicts and skirmishes between both powers drained the treasury to some extent.
Dying in 105 AG aged 93 Tiago I left Aldarr in much the same state his father had left it in, though state coffers had been somewhat drained in the arms race with Bocamar. Taking over aged 51 in 105 AG Palo I didn't achieve much in his reign that lasted mere 6 years. Fathering no sons of his own Palo I brother Vitor I took power in 111 AG aged 39 and escalated the Bocaldarrian struggle by his attempt to place Osar I conjoined twin on the throne of Bocamar. While the campaign was at first successfull, it ultimately ended in failure at the battle of the roaring barrage.
Bocamar was at this time the first and only Garfarrian power to adopt guns as the main armament for warships.
Vitor I luck was that though Aldarr's fleet had just devastated, the civil war in Bocamar had made it unable to push the advantage and after some more years of on and off fighting it was agreed to sign a peace treaty between both powers.
Rebuilding Aldarr's navy consumed the rest of Vitor I reign until his death in 150 AG aged 78.
Taking power in 150 AG Tiago II was mere 14 years old.
Nobody would have been able to predict that this young boys reign would later be considered Aldarr's second golden age.
Tiago II assumed full authority at the age of 15 and immediately summoned adventurers and scholars alike to his court. His father had left him without much of a treasury as the reconstruction of Aldarr's fleet consumed a fortune.
Tiago II advisors were brilliant, but the young boy king's mind was even sharper than anyone could have imagined. And so Aldarr's second golden age began, lost vassals were brought back into the fold, merchants and artisans returned to the city. The fleet and was rebuilt and the army was as disciplined as under Timago I himself.
When Tiago II reign ended with his death in 203 AG aged 67 he had reigned Aldarr for 53 years!
Leaving no legitimate sons three of Tiago's Bastards united powerfull factions in Aldarr behind themselves, starting a civil war that still rages in 209 AG.
